Recommendation Letter for Marquette Savings Bank

To whom it may concern:

I recently attended the “Connect for Coffee” event hosted by Marquette Savings Bank, and I have to say how astonishing their new Innovation Learning Center (ILC) is, located in downtown Erie. The center is bright, vibrant, features state-of-the-art technology, and even hosts a Main Street Cakery Cafe location for patrons to purchase delicious food and drinks!

Marquette Savings Bank positions itself as “the Hometown Bank,” which it is, plus so much more. While they offer the traditional services of the large, national banks, such as personal banking, mortgages, lines of credit, as well as business banking, commercial loans and business credit cards, they truly embrace being that hometown bank. Whether through offering free education sessions to the community, giving back more than $2 million to the Erie area over the last five years, winning awards for their West Bayfront initiative, or utilizing Erie companies and vendors to build and outfit the new ILC, they have truly earned that “Hometown Bank” moniker.

When I was looking for a bank to open a business account with, Marquette Savings Bank was my first choice. I reached out to the local branch, was immediately connected with someone who helped guide me through the process and I was able to sit down, face-t0-face, and have all my questions answered. As I have had additional questions, my help was only a phone call away  – I didn’t have to sort through a national call center to finally talk to someone who could help. That is an incredible feature in today’s banking world.

As a Strategic-Partner with Schooley Mitchell we recognize the value of going above and beyond for our clients and community – its apparent that Marquette Savings Bank cherishes the same value.

I would highly recommend Marquette Savings Bank for any of your banking needs – they are that neighbor that you can always rely on.

Yours truly,

Adam Baker

Recommendation Letter for Burgh’ers Brewing

To whom it may concern:

I recently met with a colleague at Burgh’ers Brewing restaurant for a business lunch and my experience could not have been better.

Burgh’ers Brewing is a farm to table restaurant that specializes in locally sourced burgers, sandwiches, and their own craft beer. Burgh’ers utilizes local farmers, foragers, sustainable fisheries, distillers, and brewers to create fine food, drink, and craft cocktails. Their menu boasts a nice variety of meal options with very reasonable pricing.

As I entered, I was greeted warmly and professionally. Eating out in the time of COVID is much different than before due to restrictions and staffing shortages. At other restaurants, the attention customers are accustomed to has been absent. Not at Burgh’ers. Their staff consistently checked on our table, our food arrived as it would have normally, and I was able to have a great meal and conversation without being concerned about making it to my next engagement on time. The meal was absolutely perfect, from the quality of the food, the portion size, and ultimately the value we felt we received.

I’m not alone in my praise of Burgh’ers Brewing – they were recognized by OpenTable as a 2020 Diner’s Choice restaurant based on the feedback they’ve received from other customers.

At Schooley Mitchell we focus on getting to know our clients and colleagues so business lunches are frequent. My experience at Burgh’ers Brewing really stood out.

I really would recommend Burgh’ers Brewing to any business person wishing to entertain clients and build solid relationships.

Yours truly,

Adam Baker

Chapters Health Foundation’s 5th Annual Home Runs for Hospice

“On September 29th, I had the distinct honor of being a table leader at Chapters Health Foundation’s 5th Annual Home Runs for Hospice event. The turnout was incredible; we raised over half a million dollars to support LifePath Hospice, and heard the courageous speakers who shared their stories about having a loved one in hospice. I truly believe the work Chapters Health does is vital to our community, and I am glad to have been even a small part of the incredible day.”

Recommendation Letter for Jason Luftig of Franchises For You

To whom it may concern,

If you have ever thought of owning your own business, but then fell back to your normal routine because the process was confusing or scary, let me introduce you to Jason Luftig.

Jason is a franchise broker and owner of Franchises For You, and I couldn’t be happier to recommend him to anyone seeking a new, different opportunity. If you are unfamiliar with a franchise broker, they help educate you on different franchise opportunities available, with the goal of matching up prospective investors with the right opportunity.

Jason has put a process in place to really get to know you and what type of business would fit you best. He then provides you with a list of opportunities to review and a plan of how to get from where you are to where you ultimately want to be – business ownership.

There are three great things about working with Jason. First, he provides you with the security of having a guide along an unfamiliar path; because of his experience in the franchising world, he is able to identify legitimate opportunities that match your talents and desires. Second, he is focused on being an advisor to you. At no point will you feel that Jason is pushing or pulling you in any direction; he is there to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. Third, Jason receives no payment from you – all of his fees are paid for by the franchise company you select, so working with Jason costs you nothing.

I worked with Jason for six months as we identified, investigated, and ultimately invested in a Schooley Mitchell franchise. I’m grateful for Jason’s guidance and friendship, and I’m certain if you use his services, you’ll be just as happy.

Appreciatively,

Adam Baker
