I’m honored to be featured in the November 2024 edition of She Exist magazine, a publication dedicated to promoting women in business. In my article, I share my journey from leaving school without qualifications and working low-paid jobs to earning my BA and building the career I have today. It was a privilege to attend the launch and be part of this empowering edition!
When you need to have work done on your vehicle (especially when it’s unexpected), most people’s natural inclination is to try and find the shop that will get the work done for the best price. Unfortunately, the best price often doesn’t provide the highest quality work that will last. At Winter Auto Repair in Robbinsville, NJ, the work will always be done properly and unlike this example of a bad brake job. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0_ReD7-T1aQ
This Veterans Day, Ryan, Keara, and Maci from Schooley Mitchell dedicated their time to the Byron Saunders Foundation, helping package meals for the annual Thanksgiving Meals for Families in Need initiative. The foundation provides Thanksgiving meals to thousands of families across Central Ohio, a mission made possible by community volunteers and donations. By joining this effort, the team contributed to ensuring that families in need can celebrate the holiday with a special meal, embodying the spirit of giving and community care.

In addition to the great work they do providing families with decent, safe, affordable homes, Habitat for Humanity of Berks County (PA) also works to build a strong community around these homes. Recently, they helped upgrade a playground and basketball court at a public park in one of these communities, giving children the ability to play and live a healthy lifestyle safely. What a worthwhile cause and organization we should all strive to support.
