To whom it may concern:
It is an honour to write this letter in recognition of great organization in the business community, the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce. Established in 1863, just one year after the City of Victoria was founded, the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce has played a significant role in the region ever since. It is the second largest of the 131 chambers in the province, and its current membership of more than 1,500 reflects the diversity of the business community.
The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce strives to be a respected business development leader by being a progressive, inclusive, and dynamic community leader. Its commitment to fostering a safe, welcoming environment for both citizens and businesses alike makes it an essential resource for those who want to learn, grow, and help create a stronger business and more robust community. It is respectful of people, the planet, and profit to ensure the region is vibrant and prosperous. It maintains and enhances a strong socially responsible business climate and is devoted to advancing existing business while attracting new opportunities.
The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce values its history and the diversity of the region. It embraces economic prosperity and innovation as key components to quality of life and consistently works to build value for members. It also advocates for ongoing issues in the community and works with local municipalities to achieve its goals.
I highly recommend the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce to any business person in the region who is looking to bring value to their community and contribute to the growth of a wonderful city.
Sincerely yours,
Eszter Farkas
