Annual Brunch & Auction benefiting Sattlebred Rescue
Jill Lowry recently volunteered to help organize the annual Brunch & Auction benefiting Sattlebred Rescue. The event attracted attendees from all over the US and raised about one third of the rescue’s annual operating expenses. Saddlebred Rescue buys and rehabilitates around 100 American Saddlebred horses each year, adopting them out to riding programs and beginning show riders around the country.

Memorial Day Service
Col. John Garity was the keynote speaker at his local Memorial Day service in Metter. He recognized both the surviving veterans as well as all the fallen men and women of Candler County who died in service to their country.

Partners in Learning is a not-for-profit-organization formed in 1999 to assist young children and their families to further success in school. Their services are provided both in the home and in the classroom.
Since 2010, the expert math staff at Mathnasium of Washington Township has provided math tutoring and homework help to kids in grades 2-12 all over the Sewell, Williamstown, Sicklerville and Washington Township areas.
