Eberly Farm and Kids Closet Wichita: Bringing Communities Together

Nestled in Wichita, Kansas sits fifteen acres and a unique recreational facility. As the city grew around it, Eberly Farm has become the only farm event venue within the Wichita city limits.

Since 1963, Eberly Farm has been a scenic destination for a variety of events including wedding ceremonies and receptions, milestone life celebrations, company and corporate parties, children’s camps, and church events. Their “close to the city but still in the country” location offers clients and guests plenty of choice for their events, all at a convenient distance for the Wichita community.

There is a lot to do and see at Eberly Farm, all of which makes events memorable and unique. Outside, you’ll find play areas, a swimming pool, haystack rides, games and sports, catch-and-release fishing, and, of course, the beautiful country scenery. Alternatively, their climate-controlled lodge with its outdoor patio provides a comfortable venue for any event. Eberly Farm’s in-house catering also makes event planning and coordination easy and convenient.

Wichita locals can also enjoy Eberly Farm at their public events throughout the year such as holiday dinners, take-home meals, and children’s events for Halloween, Christmas, and Easter.

Stacy Rogers is an entrepreneur, president of Eberly Farm, and is the first non-family owner of the business. Stacy purchased Eberly Farm in 2022 while searching for a suitable space to host an event for another one of her businesses, Kids Closet Connection and their Wichita branch: Kids Closet Wichita.

Kids Closet Connection is a nationwide organization that hosts large consignment sales featuring gently used kids’ clothing, toys, and furniture. Kids Closet Connection helps items be reused by new families that can access these goods at up to ninety percent off retail prices. At the end of the sales, unsold goods are donated to support local charities in their communities.

In the Wichita community, Kids Closet Wichita has been running for fourteen years, is locally family-owned, and hosts consignment sales three times a year at Wichita West Orchard Salvation Army. Each sale features up to 100,000 items, displayed across 10,000 square feet, making it among the largest consignment sales in Kansas and the United States. Donations from these sales helps support this local chapter of the Salvation Army and the work they do in the community.
