It is with great honor and admiration that I write this letter of recommendation to recognize a great organization, PSL Services – STRIVE. Located in South Portland, Maine, PSL Services – STRIVE provides vital service and support to over 850 tweens, teens, and young adults with developmental disabilities.
Founded in 1999, PSL Services – STRIVE is proud to offer 15 different programs dedicated to supporting the members of its community. These programs include social, educational, employment training, and post-secondary options, all of which share the common goal of providing opportunities for its participants to become as independent as possible.
At PSL Services – STRIVE, all services are provided by a wonderful team of staff and volunteers who never miss the opportunity to help support and guide their community. They go above and beyond for those they serve, always treating people with respect and dignity, while having a genuine passion for helping people. They are committed to understanding participant’s unique strengths and work to create a fun and professional environment while also recognizing the magnitude of what they do.
PSL Services – STRIVE is an important organization that provides indispensable service and support to those who need it. I commend its staff and volunteers and support them wholeheartedly as they work to make a difference in the lives of those they serve, and the community as a whole.
